About Me

I am a creative freelancer based in Los Angeles. I spend my days writing, auditioning, acting, collaborating, improvising, and doing a plethora of part-time jobs, mostly in the education and travel spaces.

I grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. I always had an interest in performing, evidenced by my first-grade teacher bribing me with Crunch bars to stand on my desk and sing Avril Lavigne songs. By the time I was 8, I began performing in community theatre musicals.

I performed in my first professional theatre production when I was 10. Due to my short stature and my seemingly permanent high voice, I played 8-12 year-olds all over the Bay Area until I was driving myself to rehearsals.

I went to college at Washington University in St. Louis and embraced two new passions: writing and improv. Despite majoring in linguistics and psychology, I doubled down on my creative dreams and moved to Chicago after graduation.

In Chicago, I spent three years furiously writing and improvising. Along with a group of close friends, I co-created A Very Special Episode, an original improvised form. Just as we were gaining momentum on Chicago stages, COVID-19 hit. Staring down a bitter Chicago pandemic winter, I made the move to LA.
